Project Reflection
One of the most challenging parts of the project was finding reputable resources to use while writing my essay and setting up my essay. I feel that it was hard to find resources that you can fully trust while writing a college level persuasive essay. This is much easier to do now because we were given many resources on how we can set up our essay and how to find reputable resources on the internet. I feel like I have made many improvements on setting up my essay and finding the right pieces of information to put in it to prove my argument.
Something that made the biggest impact in my learning while doing this was probably having all of the sheets that helped me lay out my essay and worksheets that helped us pretty much do the essay, that we just had to put it into a different format. Something that I accomplished during this project that I am proud of is my website. I think that I brought all of the components of this project into the website well and I also think that this website embodies what I am looking for and what audience I am trying to reach.
The three most important things that I learned while doing this project probably was how to write a successful persuasive essay, how to make a successful website that embodies the topic we chose well, and how to keep persevering even though something might seem to hard. Something that I was taught through this project was how to work as a team to get things done. Even though this was a 1 person project, we still had to help others and others had to help you with things that you may not know how to do.
The best piece of writing that I had in this project would have to be my persuasive essay. I think that I really worked hard on it and presented it well to my target audience. I think that it contains all of the elements that it needs to be a successful essay and reach the people reading it. I think that we will have to use 90-95% of things we learned later in life. My advice to students who will be completing this project in the future is to use every resource that they are given and to also stay on track with the deadline. You don’t want to fall behind just because of all of the different components of this project. Even though it seems like it is very hard, if you use all of the resources, this is a very simple project.
If I could turn back and do this project differently, I would probably try and get it done faster so that I could have been done with it early. Even though I am following the deadline, I had way more that enough time to get ahead on this project. I think that to make the project better as a whole, our teacher, Ms, Cox could have been a bit more organized on all of the sheets she gave us. Other than that, I think that Ms. Cox did an amazing job creating this project and she really took up a lot and did a good job on creating it.
